Fried Vegetarian Egg
 

 

I.     Recipe name: Fried Vegetarian Egg

II.     Ingredients:

  1. 170g bean curd sheet* (dried or frozen)
  2. 30g vegetarian ham**, minced
  3. ½   Tablespoon Tianjing preserved cabbage*, minced
  4. 1 stalk green onion, minced
  5. Black pepper, salt

III.     Directions:

Prepare two types of mixtures

  1. For frozen bean curd sheets, soak in cold water for 1.5 hours. For dried bean curd sheets, soak in boiled water for 3 hours.
  2. Drain the bean curd sheets.
  3. Heat the cooking oil, stir-fry the preserved cabbage, vegetarian ham, and the green onion. Set aside.
  4. Stir-fry the soaked bean curd sheets in high heat until it mashed, and add a pinch of salt and black pepper (preserved cabbage is already salty).
  5. Add the ingredients in item 3, stir-fry well, mix well, and form one piece.
  6. Add cooking oil in a frying pan and pan-fry until both sides are light golden brown. Serve.
