I. Recipe name: Roasted BBQ Gluten
II. Ingredients:

600g fried gluten meat chuck*,
washed and drained

5 Tablespoons cooking oil
-
1 teaspoon sesame oil
-
1 ½ teaspoons corn starch
-
2 Tablespoons water
(Fresh
gluten roll can be used as
well.)
-
50g char siu sauce
-
2 Tablespoons sugar
-
1 teaspoon salt
-
1 ½ Tablespoons dark soy sauce
-
¾ Tablespoon light soy sauce
-
¼ teaspoon vegetarian seasoning*
-
Pinch white pepper
-
1-2 Tablespoons maltose
-
1 cup water
IV. Directions:

Mix corn starch
and water together. Set aside.

Heat 4
Tablespoons cooking oil in a frying pan on medium
heat. Add in all the seasonings and bring to a boil.

Add in the
gluten meat chuck and stir-fry until the gluten absorbed
sauce. Turn the heat to low and covered with a lid.
Cook for 12-15 minutes. Keep stirring the fried
gluten occasionally while cooking.

Finally, add
the sesame oil, 1 Tablespoon cooking oil, and corn
starch mixture. Continue to stir for 30 seconds.
Serve.
