Black Pepper Gluten Roll 
 

I.     Recipe name: Black Pepper Gluten Roll

II.     Ingredients:

  1. 600g gluten rolls*, washed and drained
  2. 5 Tablespoons cooking oil
  3. 4 slices ginger
  4. 1 teaspoon sesame oil 
  5. 1 ½ teaspoons corn starch*
  6. 2 Tablespoons water

III.     Seasonings:

  1. 2~3 Tablespoons black pepper sauce*
  2. 2 teaspoons sugar
  3. ¾~1 teaspoon salt
  4. Tablespoon dark soy sauce*
  5. ½ Tablespoon light soy sauce*
  6. ½ teaspoon vegetarian seasoning*
  7. Pinch black pepper
  8. 1 Tablespoon maltose
  9. 1 cup water

IV.     Directions:

  1. Heat 4 Tablespoons cooking oil in a frying pan on medium heat, and stir-fry the gingers until light golden brown.

  2. Add the sauce ingredients and covered with a lid. Bring to a boil.

  3. Add in the gluten rolls and stir-fry until the gluten rolls absorbed the sauce. Turn the heat to low and covered with a lid. Cook for 12-15 minutes. Keep stirring the fried gluten rolls occasionally while cooking.

  4. Finally, add the sesame oil and 2 Tablespoons cooking oil. Continue to stir for 30 seconds and serve.
