I. Recipe name: Vegetarian Duck
II. Ingredients:
(Yields 2 vegetarian ducks)

4 round
bean curd sheets*
III.
Sauce seasonings:

½ teaspoon five-spice powder
-
½ teaspoon sugar
-
1 teaspoon salt
-
¼ teaspoon vegetarian seasoning*

2 Tablespoons water
IV. Directions:
1. Soak the bean curd sheets in water for
2~3 seconds, take out immediately and spread out flat.
Fold the sheets in half to make a semicircle,
spread 2~3 teaspoons of sauce seasonings on the sheets.
2. Fold each ends of the semicircle towards
the middle, making the semicircle shape into one-fourth of a circle. Fold the
two bottom edges up toward the middle again to make a diamond or rectangle
shape.
3. Wrap the bean curd sheets with foil,
steam in medium heat for 10 minutes, take out bean curd sheet, and peel off
the foil.
4. Heat
the cooking oil in a frying pan. Pan-fry the bean curd sheets on low heat
until both sides become golden brown. Serve with soy sauce.
5. It can be stored in the freezer after
cooled. Thaw and then fry before serve.
6. Note:
the Sauce seasonings can also include others
based on personal preference. Then roll the bean curd sheet and steam it.
